I have a load of empty drinks cans, what should I do with them?

This is a strange question, but I have a very large collection of pepsi and coke cans that I have collected over the years, I have built many a pyramid but these have been knocked down very often. I would like to do something creative with them, they are all the same size and shape. I have had quite a few ideas but I was wondering what everyone else thought? Anything interesting spring to mind?
Paint them black and use solar heat for some purpose?
Make some sort of water fountain from them?
Big old can wall?

I know people who cut them with tin snips and recycle them into sculptures, found art, mobiles etc.
Use gloves of course and safety glasses, as Norm Abrams always says.

I like your idea of painting the cans black, and using them as passive Solar Heating. Usually such walls use thick walled materials to retain the heat longer, but maybe the paint layer would be enough.

My first thought was recycling for cash. Does your state do that? There are scrap metal dealers who pay by weight and aluminum is endlessly recyclable.
