Aaaaah! In dire need of assistance!!!?
I’ve FINALLY got an interview tomorrow but there’s just one problem….I don’t know what questions to ask!
I don’t want to be shallow & only ask about pay, hours etc.
I REALLY want to make a good impression because I want this job SO much.
Its for an Office Administrator position at a company called Smart Energy UK Ltd,they’re a solar energy sales company.
My interview is at 3pm tomorrow so I don’t want to bore the interviewer with the same questions she’s been hearing all day.
Do you have any good ideas for questions to ask???
Please help me!
Superannuation = Pension scheme for retirement…Am i right?!
Good interviewee questions include:
1. Do you have any staff development programs?
2. Would you be able to offer flexible hours if I choose to go back to University and study part time?
3. Is there much potential for advancement within the company?
4. Do you offer on the job training?
These kinds of questions make you appear committed to the company and willing to work there long term.
You can ask about pay, but don’t make it the first thing you ask. Also, asking about superannuation benefits (do you have superannuation in the UK?) makes you seem more mature.
One of the most important things, speaking from experience in interviewing, is that it is essential that you speak clearly and take your time when answering a question. It is absolutely fine to think about your answer for a couple of seconds after the question is asked. Your answers will be better and it makes you look much smarter and very switched on.
Also, consistently maintain eye-contact with the interviewer/s. If there is more than one, pay attention to each.
