Hit my solar nail on something and real nail is now coming up, too.?

What do I do? My solar nail hit on something, and my real nail is coming up, too. It really hurts, but I put a band-aid on it to hopefully save the nail. Is it possible for it to heal when most of the nail is no longer attached? Any ideas?

The nail will keep growing and eventually cover the presently bare part of the nail bed, but it MAY grow in looking a little off. I would take the rest of the fake nail off and leave a bandaid on it until the nail bed is not raw anymore. Next time, get the nails done shorter so they can not hit on things easily.
