Section 4.1 Financial Savings

This calculator generates a financial report and summary presenting the economic benefits of a project in a form suitable for submission to decision makers. You will need to do cost and energy savings calculations before using this calculator.

You can calculate:

  1. Internal Rate of Return (IRR)
  2. Net Present Value (NPV)
  3. Greenhouse Impact.

To perform these calculations, complete the fields in the blue boxes. Tab between the boxes to have your on-screen results recalculated. You can also generate a printable Financial Summary and Cash Flow for your project by pressing GENERATE FINANCIAL REPORT at the bottom of the screen.
